Enjoying Boulder

Posted: July 19, 2010 in Uncategorized

Boulder is one of the coolest places we have seen. It sits right next to the Rocky Mountains and the weather has been great the last few days. Today we spent the day counting traffic in our two favorite areas of the city. It looks like both will be great options for Location #1. Tomorrow we are off to Denver to get a tour of the city by a fellow Duke alum.

At the end of the day we were walking by a park and decided to toss a football around for a bit to blow off some steam. There was a 5th grade boy and his dad playing catch as well. Noah, the little kid, came over decked out in full pads and helmet and asked if we wanted to play a game with him and his dad. The shoes came off and soon we were in a heated touch football game. Blood, sweat and tears were shed in the hard fought battle. Check out the post game interview with Noah:

It was awesome being outside in the perfect weather. It felt great to move around, laugh and let loose a bit. Took me back to the good ol’ days when I would play football with my friends, draw plays in the dirt and have the time of our lives. It was great to see how happy Noah was running around the field catching touchdown passes. Get ready CU Buffs Noah could be the next Kordell Stewart, just give him 8 years.

While we are busy here in Boulder we have an army of interns across the nation that are working on getting this thing of the ground. We have people back in Durham working on marketing, demographic research and website design. We have a photographer and marketing expert in Memphis. In Chicago we have a team member who made it her goal to get us on Oprah. Check out her blog: http://oprahforsabi.blogspot.com/. We’d like to give a shout out to everyone for helping us make this happen. We appreciate all of your hard work. You guys are the best.
